Follow-up Appt

We had our follow up appointment Thursday and the RE seemed optimistic for our case and is going to be changing a few things. Last time I did the antagonist protocol. Since my Estradiol levels were so high and my right ovary got so large she is going to change it to the usual protocol that includes Birth Control & Lupron before the stimulating meds.

She also wants to do a Day 3 transfer instead of Day 5. Our embryos were good quality up to Day 3 but she was concerned of the number that arrested between Day 3-5 and said it usually points to a DNA problem.

We have been told to start supplements to help prevent any DNA fragmentation.

We still have to wait until my body has a couple normal cycles by itself and allow some time for the supplements to work before we can start again, but at least we have a fresh plan.

This weekend we are going to be relaxing at the Cabin and going for a hike up the mountain with Sophie :-) Should be lots of fun and lots of super weather!
