It's been awhile...

OK, here is a quick run-down of events.

March - visit from UK family. Lots of lounging, shopping, eating & fun. Really enjoyed it and miss them terribly.

March 10 - our 9th anniversary was a BBQ out by the firepit. We also later went to Grove Park for a night of super food & wine & spa time.

April - Surgery on the 22nd, stayed in the hospital for 3 nights / 4 days. Recovery was pretty smooth... all went well. Only lasting problem so far is a bit of numbness around the scar and a patch of nerves on my leg. Really enjoyed the morphine!

May - Enjoyed the 4 weeks of medical leave. Major family drama (ugh). Andrew finished our new deck with some help, its marvelous! Returned to work for 3 days and was fired/quit. They said I had to work 5 days a week and I said No.

June - Waiting for unemployment to kick in and contemplating going back to school for a degree. Had some visitors from the UK on their way to Australia - had a great time with them. Far too much alcohol.

How's that for short & sweet ?

Should be starting a new IVF cycle in the next week or so. I'm going to attempt to be very relaxed through the whole thing and not worry about work, family drama, etc.

Spending loads of time on the deck in the sun.
