Well, February has been particularly busy.
I've gotten a tattoo, started acupuncture treatments, flown to England, and we got a new camera.
We had a very nice time during our visit to England. It certainly was last minute - 4 days notice is enough, right ? It was so very nice to see everyone, it really makes me miss living there.
We're over the jet lag now and back to the grindstone. Work is going along as usual... I can tell I'm getting further behind with my work. I cannot function with my short term memory on some days. Forgetting what I'm doing in the shower... Forgetting deodorant... Forgetting send an email to a co-worker... Forgetting what I said a few minutes ago... I hope this stops soon.
I spoke to my nurse the other day - yup I have a designated nurse - and asked her how long I need to wait for my cycle to start. She said I have been waiting long enough (ya think!?) so I have an appt Tuesday for some bloodwork and ultrasound to see if they can figure out what is going on. I know the options will be 1) wait until you start naturally or 2) take some medicine to make me start. Worst case would be finding a huge cyst - so I'll prepare myself for that.
Going to the acupuncturist this Friday, I'm looking forward to that and hoping it will be less emotional than the first appt where I cried/laughed cos of my nervous giggle thing. sheesh.
Other than that... we're just playing around with the camera. Andrew should be getting some drums soon, yes I caved in. We need some kind of productive distraction these days. (Damn that Peggle game!!)
