They're awake!

My ovaries are finally awake again!

I wanted to check for cysts because I'd been having some pain and needed to know what the heck was going on and why I hadn't started...so off to the RE I go.

I was correct, that yes, there is another cyst on my right ovary. This is the same ovary that had been hacked up in November from a 6cm cyst. The doc said it was difficult to tell if it was a functional cyst or a chocolate/endometrioma cyst. Basically she said as long as I'm not in too much pain she has no problem continuing with the IVF plan. She simply cannot perform surgery on me every few months for cysts, even with the Lupron helping as well.

She could tell that I ovulated with my lining all nice, etc. My progesterone level was 14.7 - which is super for me without meds, so I'm pleased with that. I should start my cycle early next week by my calculations, which should put me at starting stims the last week March/beginning of April.

I must admit this past weekend and the last few days my mood and energy level has improved drastically!! So, finally, I'm getting back to my pre-Lupron self and things are going very well.


ps. My RE is great, we spent a good 5 minutes talking about shoes!! :-)
