Intermediate testing done & Work news

Well, I had my colonoscopy & EGD done this week. All normal results which is great and means we can move on to a frozen cycle, which God only knows when that will be. My body has not decided to cooperate just yet.

The actual procedure this week wasn't bad at all... I do enjoy a good anesthesia nap. The preparation however was the worst one yet. I only managed half of the drink mixture and then threw it all up. Blech. Luckily I had gotten enough in my system to work. The nurses took a blood pregnancy test before the procedure just to be sure, they wouldn't accept my word for it that it would be negative. Nevermind.

I have been feeling pretty good lately since I've gotten used to my meds and have lost more weight, I've lost about 6 lbs now. I'm just not as hungry as I used to be so that is fine by me! Poor Andrew doesn't get cooked great suppers anymore...I'll have to work on that.

We got some news about work this week. Lately we have just changed around our roles and responsibilities to try to collect some outstanding money. This is within the last couple of months...not long at all. We've been told they are closing our office and moving the jobs elsewhere, all to be completed by December 31st. More likely to be done before then. Its all fine for Andrew since he was leaving anyways but makes it a bit unstable for us. I'm not overly concerned because I know we'll be ok. I've been applying for jobs like a mad woman... I've 'expressed interest' or applied to 8-10 jobs in 2 days. I've lost count. I'd LOVE to have time off for the FET and Christmas but I'm not sure how that will work out.

Everyone at work is pissed off that we weren't given the full opportunity to do our new jobs. And honestly just because they move them to new offices doesn't mean the money will flow in, there are still going to be horrendous problems the managers/directors have not even considered. They clearly aren't thinking it through properly (or maybe they are). Our guess is it could be sabotage to close the company's NC business down anyways.

Oh well.... I'm not freaking out about it, just going to continue as needed until I find something else.
