Not forgotten

I know its been awhile, we've just be so ridiculously busy lately. But I have been thinking about writing, does that count ?

Update on work news: Andrew is now contracting and doing very well. His current client is keeping him very busy, he has had little time off. They think he is a computer genius - which he really is.

For myself, I managed to keep my job with the company and arranged to work in the Charlotte office for 3 days a week. Those are 3 11-hour days that are very tough with a 2.5 hour commuting time every day. Those 33 hours are just enough for me to keep the health insurance. I am actually really enjoying it because the 4 days off are fantastic. I'm working much more efficiently too. Thus, the lack of blog posts!

Update on baby news: With so much going on the last few weeks, we've delayed the FET cycle a little just until things calm down. I've recently started up the small-dose of Lupron again in preparation. Luckily the only side effects so far have been night sweats. Mid January will hopefully be the time to get the ball rolling.

Update on me: I've had some meds adjustment since my last post. I am feeling pretty damn good. I've lost 10 lbs now and have lots of energy...as well as the ability to concentrate on work, etc. I almost hate to get back into IVF because I'm worried it'll all go downhill and I'm just really enjoying things at the moment. I'm in my skinny jeans that are falling off of me and had a new haircut last week.

General : We did get news about Muffy (the sweet little UK ferret) who had to be put to sleep. I know J&C made the right decision and I'm thankful that she was with you guys and had a happy life. Thanks so much for taking care of her. She'll be missed for sure.

In other news, my family are so dysfunctional some days. I often wonder how I'm not any worse than I am.... yet I still love 'em.

Our animals are doing well. Zorro loves being an only cat and he has been so great lately. Abbey is really showing her age, wheezing, snoring, going deaf, and sometimes limping. We've been giving her extra attention lately. Sophie is super, she is calm and obedient (most of the time). As long as she is given 'Alpha Dog' status then everyone is happy. Lizzie is a cuddle bug. She's currently in heat again and just not having any of it from Eddie. Andrew sure loves to spoil her. Eddie is just Eddie. Manic little thing that so desperately wants to be the top dog and not Sophie. He demands attention. He is also a great hugger, he just doesn't have a concept of personal space.

That's pretty much the news for now... I hope to update a bit more often.
