Whhooooosh!

I assume that is the sound the wind made and it sent a huge gust right against our shed.

Talk about a bit of a shock on Friday (Dec 1st). This was also Andrew's first day at work, which went great, but deserved a break...not for us to come home with a tree down and our shed on the neighbor's road. Eek!

Since we came home just at dusk we were able to have a quick look at the damage. The shed was just flipped end over end, a few times, over the lump of dirt behind it and onto the road that lead into the empty land next to us.

We spent that evening sorting through what we could burn, what needed to go inside that night, and what could wait till Saturday morning. Do you see a trend of bad luck here?

Saturday morning was spent trying to get the shed back onto our land, which included the car and a rope. This flimsy aluminum/tin shed that took us 2 back-breaking days to put together just fell to pieces. So, we're planning to sell it for scrap metal and put the money towards a new shed. Which we will make SURE is anchored down properly. They don't just say that to make money, but we learned that the hard way.... along with don't park on leaves.
