Anniversary #7

March 10th was our 7 year Anniversary. For that Saturday we went into town for some shopping and then up to the Cabin with Mom and Dad. Food and drinks and lots of chatting. Actually me and Andrew got rather wasted...seems to be a new habit of mine. Ethan was there as well, and we took Boris along for the trip.

We ended up staying the night and sharing a bed with Ethan... he's so funny the way he sleeps. Arms straight out and flopping everywhere, even talking in his sleep. Him and Boris spent the daylight hours chasing each other and playing, then in the evening me and Ethan wrestled and both got really worn out, as far as I remember!

The next day, rather hungover and lacking in sleep, we went to Grove Park Inn in Asheville. Good Lord we spent too much money for just one night's stay but it was totally worth it. Amazing bedrooms, the best food I've ever eaten (for $115 it should be!) and a fantastic spa. We spent the day either floating in the mineral pool staring up at the sky, outside in the heated pool, under the waterfall pool or lounging in the sun. Andrew got a nice red chest to prove it. Its definately something we will be doing again! Perhaps when a few English lot come over and feel the need to splurge ?

It was a very good experience and it has created a new 'happy place' for me to go in my head on stressful days :o)
