6 Weeks Old

Lots of happened in the last 2 weeks. Both are now out of their isolation boxes and into normal cribs maintaining their temperatures. They have been taken off the caffeine that was helping them breathe and are doing great. They are also being allowed to take a bottle at every feeding, assuming they are awake and showing interest.

We are really hoping they will go full force with the eating as that is the only thing holding them back now. Rachel is up to 4lbs 10oz and David is 4lbs 13oz. The difference every day is amazing, they are both doing so well. We couldn't be happier.

We have started preparing for them to come home. We've cleaned & sealed the deck; done some general work outside. The room they will be moving into eventually is stocked full of their clothes, diapers, blankets, all sorts of baby stuff! In the next few days we'll be cleaning out the office for a trip to Sam's Club so we can stock up on supplies for the next few months. I don't think we'll be leaving the house again for awhile so we should be prepared.

Here are some recent pictures to enjoy.
