So it would seem a lightening bolt started a fire behind Mom & Dad's house near the Shoals. A neighbor came by at 10pm Friday night to see if my parents were burning anything... after a 4-wheeler ride, it was a pretty big area near the Shoals.
Luckily it was surrounded by a dirt track and the creek so it wasn't gonna go too far, but it was a big area. There ended up being approximately 20 fire fighters working on it until 2am.
Saturday night we went over to watch the rest of the flames and just keep an eye on it. Its all under control, just a few hot spots and rotten trees burning.
We sure could use some rain.
