Hmmm....

Its been a rough few weeks since I last posted. With bad news about the Captain's health our emotions have been up & down. Any chance to speak with him or any of our family in England has been very uplifting...and reminds me of how close we really are.

There is a lot of faith going into alternative cancer treatments. Chinese medicines, accupuncture, diet and Pau D'Arco tea (once our order arrives). This gives us all a lot of hope!! And of course we're all still looking into other possible options.

As for us, I have recovered pretty well from the surgery now. I knew the doc has used a sort of glue on my incisions but it didn't really sink in until last night in the shower... I thought I still had big bruises left, but they washed off. HA! I have my follow up appointment tomorrow to discuss what we'll do.

We're also getting our new fridge delivered tomorrow! We did some serious spending on the day after Thanksgiving and got a good deal on a fridge, stove & dishwasher. It will be nice once its all installed, ahh the bliss of not having to give the fan in the fridge a tap to keep the food cold.

Last weekend Andrew got his new toy - a riding tractor / lawn mower. I have to admit its kinda fun buzzing around the yard munching up leaves, though I expect it won't be getting anymore use this year.

Soooo, thats the update for now. I'll write again once we have a decision from the Doctor about how to make some baby Simmonds.
