Andrew and I had Monday off work, for MLK day. So we decided to go golfing with my Dad and brother, Jeremy. We went to Pine Mountain and played the front 9.
Keep in mind that I have never been on a big course....Andrew and I haven't been golfing since the summer. Dad hasn't been for 20 years and Jeremy has no real golf history. Needless to say we all sucked! But Damn did we have a good time. I've not laughed that hard out in public in a loooong time. My sides were hurting and I couldn't breathe at one point.
Jeremy & Andrew seemed to have a problem hitting the ball more than 50 feet each time and were aiming at trees (with the exception of about 2 good shots the whole game). Me and Dad were pretty evenly matched...though I may have been *slightly* better. We didn't keep score, because competition really wasn't the point.
We definately got our money's worth, and we let 2 different groups go passed us, spent way too long searching for lost balls and just making a scene. How rude of us to laugh so hard and loud at a golf course!
