Well, Friday we visited a doctor for Andrew to get him checked out. The doc confirmed what we had expected and he recommended surgery. We've done some research and there are lots of arguments for and against the surgery, Andrew is against, and I'm confident enough to let him make the judgement.
This just means we do have to use ART to get preggo, which I suspected as much. The actual procedure will need to be determined by one of the docs in Charlotte. With my endo and the MFI I'm hoping they'll let us attempt 1-2 IUIs before moving on to IVF.
This starts a whole new plan with many more steps (and money)... far too many.
The doctor (urologist) also wants to perform several other tests, that will include a few more visits. We're gonna try to get insurance coverage for Andrew to hopefully cover all of the visits/tests/whatever. ($230 a month!)
My doc appt was fine, all scars nicely healed with my insides feeling much better.
So, on top of that we'll be attending yet another Seminar with the REACH Doctors and get a chance at free IVF - hey, anything for a free meal huh? I've got a chiropractor appointment to hopefully crack my neck (might as well since the insurance deductible has been very well met).
We're looking forward to a 5 day mini-vacation coming up.
