After waiting until the very last minute for the IVF nurse to call with my results from this morning, it is finally here.
They are keeping me on the same meds, 150 Follistim am & pm, and the Ganirelix and low-dose HCG in the mornings. There are so many nice people on the internet, another 'infertile' has kindly sent me more Follistim which is enough to finish my cycle. I still need to order Ganirelix and my pre-op & post-op meds.
I'm scheduled for another u/s on Friday. Today's E2 level is 2991, and the IVF nurse said that I had 18 follies greater than 10mm. WOOHOO! She estimated egg retrieval on Sunday - which is when my Doc is on the schedule - and said they would look into draining my cysts. I am concerned about infection from the draining, but I really need the pressure from the cysts to be more bearable even if it means delaying embryo transfer.
I'm so excited !!

Just wanted to let u know u are not alone. I am on day 9 of stims and also have lots of follicles, 28to be exact. I also have a large cyst too. We are preparing for a Retrieval this Sat. I have read that Gatorade and lots of protein will help ward off OHSS. Lets just pray that niether of us get it too bad. Good luck! Hope u the best! Laura
